SHEARglass are a music and live art duo, which has evolved out of two strong, individual art practices:-

Miles was doing his own multi-faceted art practice as a visual artist. As a musician, touring with BBBlackDog and Arguably Venomous Mammals and collaborating in music and video with the famous ‘Videojam’ project in Manchester.

Ola was creating site-specific installations and live art pieces, whilst working as a community arts manager.  As a musician, she developed a new genre of music, ‘post-natal punk’ with the all-female band The Mothers , then gigged with duo Roar Silk as well as performing solo.

They got together in their 50’s to collaborate making art and music, with a shared passion for creatively exploring political themes with a punk edge.
